Lauren Peterson

Yoga teacher

Living in California, U.S.A., she has been teaching yoga all over the world for many years. She has been teaching yoga around the world for many years. She is a graduate of Iyengar Ashtanga Advanced (4th series), and has also introduced the 5ht series, and appears regularly on the Healing Quest TV show and in Yoga Journal Magazine. At Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center, she developed a yoga program for women struggling with anorexia and overeating. She teaches private and group classes in Malibu, California, and conducts Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga workshops throughout the United States. She is an internationally respected yoga instructor who has taught in Asian countries for many years.

Michiko Minegishi

She is the president of BMY Yoga Studio. its founding in 2001, BMY has been at the root of Japan's yoga boom. As Minegishi's home, BMY's classes are a treasure trove of the essence of what she has built and continues to strive to offer for the benefit of all people. With over 40 years of teaching experience, she has developed an unlimited number of teaching techniques that have been described as “Minegishi Magic” and continue to cause positive changes in people's bodies and minds. She has been invited to many conferences abroad, and her wealth of experience in the field is a factor in the creation of many of the Minegishi Methods.

Founder and president of TOKYOYOGA. He has established studios in Shibuya, Aoyama, Izu Kogen, Osaka, and Tokyo. He has been involved in various projects promoting yoga throughout Japan, including publishing the free yoga paper YOGAYOMU and planning and producing a yoga notebook. He teaches regularly in Tokyo and continues to teach at workshops throughout Japan and at yoga events abroad.

 

He has studied Ashtanga Yoga from its founder, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and Restorative Yoga from leading yoga teacher Judith Hanson Lasater. He continues to study various theories and experiences of the body and nervous system globally while conducting a wide range of yoga classes, therapy sessions, and teacher training.

He runs the Osaka Spirit Yoga Studio and 6HAWAS. Based in Japan, he travels the world giving yoga and meditation classes, workshops, retreats, and training courses. For the past 20 years, he has met and taught many people from all over the world to bring positive change and improve their quality of life. Since 2000, he has also conducted retreats in India and taught thousands of people at yoga classes, workshops, retreats, and large-scale yoga events in Japan and other countries. He has also directed yoga teacher trainings that have produced more than 2,500 yoga teachers. In 2007, he opened Spirit Yoga Studio in Osaka, the first yoga school certified by the Yoga Alliance for 200 and 500 hour classes, and in 2022, he opened a new type of yoga studio, “Private Yoga Studio,” which offers online and real-time yoga instruction. In 2022, he launched a new type of yoga studio, 6HAWAS, a private yoga academy that offers online and real-time instruction.

It is one thing to note that yoga training has always been closely related to our way of life and secondly, yoga is not only about searching for the meaning but is also to be experienced in real life.

 

Through the Yogakula community, we hold the “Global Yoga Mala Project” in Korea every year to gather the energy of peace and wish for the unity of all yogis. Since 2011, we have also organized the Korea Yoga Conference, which aims to connect the yoga community in Korea and around the world.

President of Radhika Yoga Hayama. He has been a speaker at many yoga events in Japan and abroad, events sponsored by ministries and agencies, and yoga lessons broadcast live from India by a medical association. He has appeared in yoga magazines and women's magazines, as well as on TV and as a radio personality, and has been featured in numerous media outlets. He has also started a joint project with street dancers, DJs, and musicians to fuse street culture and traditional yoga, and has supervised the curriculum at YMC and trained approximately 2,000 instructors. He is the founder of “Otoko Yoga,” a men-only yoga program. Currently, he teaches yoga for the mind and heart based on the 5,000 year-old Indian traditional yoga teachings and meditation including yoga philosophy.

Lives in Los Angeles, California. Kiyomi is a dedicated and passionate practitioner and teacher of yoga and meditation. Her primary purpose is to help people live a joyful life guided by their deepest inner desires. Her expertise is in detailed instruction, encouragement, and adjustments. She is a certified YogaWorks instructor, Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 yoga instructor, IKYTA-certified Kundalini yoga instructor, certified yoga therapist (LMU), and certified holistic health and wellness coach. She teaches group and private classes at yoga studios and companies and conducts teacher training and workshops at studios, events, and festivals in Los Angeles and around the world.

She began practicing yoga in 2005, attended her first teacher training with Annie Carpenter in 2013, and traveled to India for the first time the following year to study at a secluded ashram and in Vriddhavan, north of Rishikesh. She has been certified in RYT 200 hours at three studios under Annie Carpenter (Smart Flow), Govindas, founder of Bhakti Yoga Shala (Bhakti Yoga), and excellent teachers of Core Power Yoga (Hot Vinyasa Power Yoga). She fully embraces all aspects of the yogic lifestyle, including daily asana, pranayama, meditation practice, chanting, kirtan, vegan lifestyle, and seva. With self-realization and happiness as her ultimate goal, she teaches a powerful vinyasa flow according to the Eightfold Rule by Pataninjali, emphasizing the devotional aspect of yoga as a scientific system of happiness.

Interested in yoga, she explored the path of yoga in India and studied many types of yoga and spiritual practices such as Ashtanga Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, and Reiki. In 2007, she opened a yoga studio, YOGABREEZE, in Fukuoka. That same year, she met Sharon Gannon & David Life, founders of Jivamukti Yoga, a teacher who transformed her lifestyle. Inspired by the powerful and practical methods of Jivamukti Yoga, she became the first certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher in Japan in 2008. Since then, she has been passionately teaching the method and became an Advanced Certified Teacher of Jivamukti Yoga in 2012. With the blessings and guidance of Jivamukti Yoga Gurus, she has shared the Jivamukti Yoga method in Japan, held workshops internationally, and has been invited to conferences in Asia and Europe.

Mayumi Fujita

Yoga teacher/Aromatherapist

She is the main instructor at “radhika Yoga” in Hayama. She also gives yoga lessons mainly in Tokyo and Kanagawa. She also teaches yoga classes in Tokyo and Kanagawa, and has been teaching beach yoga in Kamakura and Hayama, and garden yoga using the beautiful environment of gardens. She is in charge of various self-organized classes. She gives special yoga lessons at various companies and teaches a restorative yoga teacher training course at YMC Medical Trainers School.
